STUDENT SOFTWARE
With our Student Platform students will have easy access to navigate the materials for construction learning combined with our 3 month's period of intensive hands-on training ,our prospect candidates will have access to all the information and direct access to their certifications.
HANDS ON TRAINING
Our hands-on training program will provide the education required to obtain a job and pursue a career in construction. ISC can be the bridge between the larger construction companies and new prospect entering the industry.
OTHER CERTIFICATIONS AND CAREER EXPLORATION
The Iowa School of Construction will work closely with the larger construction companies to ensure updated data to the students and hiring opportunities through employer networking.
Receive information regarding additional certifications offered through other organizations, such as Quality Control and able Safety and Health at the job site.
ABOUT US
With an initial focus on basic construction site competencies, the ISC program is intended to offer entry level skills training with hands on that will provide a Certificate for General Construction Skills. With our employer platform, students will have their live resume with all their certifications, making them an asset for the future employer, but also increasing their earning capacity.
The program is designed to serve any willing participant and is not a gender-based program. ISC program has incorporated women in construction section that specializes in the training to compete for the employment of high demand of jobs in Iowa. The program also offers a bilingual section to accommodate non-English speaking persons. The program intends to offer all people in underepresented communities to gain and build skills that will allow them to re-enter the construction workshop workforce to fill the growing need for skilled construction workers.
ISC will also offer on an individual, case by case basis for any person with a disability. A program designed to meet an individual's particular needs in order to accommodate their learning and skill building training.

All students will receive a certificate of completion within 30 days of completing all requirements for the program. Certificates are provided at no cost to the student. Graduates from the certificate program will receive a certificate and two original transcripts of their program. For questions, please contact the Iowa School of Construction office at 515-827-2900. Transcripts are also available upon request. Students may request a copy of their transcripts by emailing Joseph Cichowski on this website.
